She was also a music aficionado and enjoyed playing the guitar. Little did she know that her love for music would lead to the love of her life. While taking guitar lessons, Irma met Bob, and the rest is history. Irma and Bob married in 1962 and were together for 50 wonderful years. Irma's creative side also carried over to her professional life. She was a career woman, working as a commercial graphic artist for many years. When she finally hung up her easel, Irma and Bob retired to Stone Mountain, GA. They moved on to Lake Oconee where Irma was active in the homeowner's association. Never one to sit still, Irma launched her TV career while in Lake Oconee and worked for two seasons on the TV series I'll Fly Away set in the fictional town of Bryland. After Lake Oconee, Irma settled in the suburbs of Warner Robbins to be closer to two of her daughters. Her latest move took her to the bucolic town of Mayville, WI where she resided for the past six years. She was an avid football fan and a staunch supporter of the Packers and the Falcons. When not watching the Green & Gold or the Dirty Birds, she would be watching NASCAR racing, or listening to Willie Nelson. Irma was fortunate to have many friends and family who she spent many happy hours with. She would like to especially thanks Char and Domenic, Montana and Della Sauve. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday September 6, 2016 at Mount Olivet Cemetery Chapel of the Angels, 3801 W. Morgan Ave., Milwaukee, WI before entombment in the Mausoleum.
