Pegelow, Howard A. “Howie” Passed away on December 20, 2018 at the age of 71. Current resident of Arizona. Born October 25, 1947 in Milwaukee. Beloved husband of Jane (nee Frank). Loving dad of Christopher (Sally), Mark (Amy) and Ann (the late Craig) Blankenburg. Proud grandpa of Taylor (Katie), Jacob, Evan, Emily, Jackson and Alexandra. Great-grandpa of Kinsley. Brother of the late David Maxwell, the late Ardith (the late Al) Berry, Keith (Lori) Pegelow, the late Karl Pegelow, Brett Pegelow, John (Jackie) Pegelow and Mary (Randy) Reblin. Brother-in-law of Mark (Stella) Frank. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Howard served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era, was a former Milwaukee Police officer, active member of AMVETS, DAV and other veteran organizations, Past-President of ASHI and currently a board of director member of Trilogy in Gilbert, Arizona. Memorial Gathering on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the MAX A. SASS & SONS MISSION HILLS CHAPEL – Franklin from 10am until the Memorial Service at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials to AMVETS Hospital and Service Foundation greatly appreciated.
