Hildegarde Margaret Hayes

Hayes, Hildegarde M. "Hupp" (nee Huppert) Born to Eternal Life on October 19, 2013 at the age of 87. Lovingly survived by her husband John Hayes. Beloved mother of Kathleen Hedke, Michael (Virginia) Hayes, John Patrick (Christine) Hayes and Theresa (Richard) Zimmerman. Cherished grandma of Daniel, Carolyn, Caleb, Alexis, Maxwell, Matthew, Neil and Clarissa. Proud great grandma of Samantha, Julia and Mason. She is further survived by her sister in law Joyce Hayes, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Michael and Clotilda Huppert, sister Elsie Schmidt and brothers Clem, Felix and Paul Huppert. She was a longtime teacher at Doerfler Elementary School. After she retired John and Hupp enjoyed traveling the world together. Hupp was always very involved with her children, grandchildren and extended family. She will be loved, remembered and missed by her family and friends. Visitation on Friday, October 25, 2013 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home with a Vigil service at 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Saturday, at St. Alphonsus Church (6060 W. Loomis Rd). Entombment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
