Hilda E. Holle

Holle, Hilda E. Passed away on June 17, 2009 at Ruth Hospice in West Allis. Hilda was born in Cudahy on August 14, 1917 to Fred and Bertha (nee Mueller) Strieff. She had 3 brothers, Walter, Gilbert and Emil, and one sister Louise. All have preceded her in death. On June 18, 1938, she was united in marriage to Howard J. Holle, who died on January 19, 1991. Following marriage, they lived on a farm in Cudahy before moving to West Allis where she spent the remainder of her life. She was a member of Greenfield Avenue Presbyterian Church USA and later joined the West Allis Wesleyan Church. Hilda was always very optimistic and provided unconditional love to family and friends. What she enjoyed most was spending time with her family, usually playing cards. Beloved mother of James (Katherine) of East Troy and David (Virginia) of Racine. Loving grandma of Thomas, Michael (Kelly), Edward (Jody), Christine, Walter (Jennifer) and Jason (Heather) Holle. Dearest great-grandma of Quentin, Ariel, Nathaniel, Sydney, Samantha, Evan, Marin and Claire Holle. She was thankful for all her family and her many beloved friends. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Saturday, June 20, 2009 from 1PM to 3PM at the MAX A. SASS & SONS GREENRIDGE CHAPEL. Funeral Service will be at 3PM with Rev. Kevin Tarvid and Rev. Peter Skanse officiating. Private family burial will be at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Greenfield Avenue Presbyterian Church USA or West Allis Wesleyan Church appreciated. The family expresses their sincere thanks to special niece Judy Dickson and family for welcoming Hilda into their home and providing her with loving care in a warm family atmosphere.
