Genthe, Herbert A. Thursday, April 3, 2008, at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of Ruth(Nee Rhodes)for 62 years. Dear brother of LaVerne Storm, Myron(Winifred)Genthe and the late Vanette Fido. Loving father of Barbara(Richard)Politoski, Herbert M.(Denise), Deborah Cmelak and Jacquelyn(Daniel)Kirner. Dear grandfather of David and Daniel(Valerie)Politoski, April(Michael)Witkofski, Herbert D.(Kacy)Genthe, Rick, Beth and Angela Cmelak, Andrew, Abbie and Zachary Kirner. Great-grandpa of Dylan Politoski and Gabriel Genthe. Herbert was a WWII Army Air Corps veteran. He was an avid outdoorsman and was co owner of Czaplewski and Genthe Painting for almost 40 years. We're thankful for the many caring hands that helped Dad at the end. Visitation at the Funeral Home on Sunday, April 6, from 2-4 PM. Additional visitation at Luther Memorial Ev. Lutheran Church, 2840 S. 84th St., on Monday, April 7, from 9:30-10 AM. Funeral Service at 10 AM. Entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church or the Alzheimer's Association, appreciated.
