Helene Louise Krueger

Helene Louise Krueger passed away early on the morning of July 5th, 2018 in the company of her close family. Helene was born in Lombard Illinois, September 19, 1947. The daughter of Richard and Yolanda Wlochall. She is survived by her husband Kurt of Mukwonago, WI, her sister Sandie (Glenn) Kemp of Dallas, son Brad of Houston, daughter Heather of Houston, step-sons Erich, Phillip and Jon of Wisconsin, grandchildren Holly, Jake & Meagan of Houston, Sarah and Bailey of Austin and Rachel and David of Wisconsin. Helene was born in Chicago and grew up in Lombard, Illinois. She graduated from Northern Illinois University with a preschool education degree. Helene married William Thomas Armosky in 1969. She moved to Texas in 1979. In 1998, she re-discovered a childhood friend she had met in Door County, Wisconsin and married Kurt Krueger. The two of them had celebrated nearly 20 years of marriage together. Helene enjoyed a career as a flight attendant for Continental Airlines for 19 years. She could be often found giving back to others through volunteering her time for her local community church or spending time with her beloved grandchildren in Texas and Wisconsin. People who knew Helene knew her as one with a zest for life and embracing lifes simple pleasures. She had a special love of children and always wanting to work with people. She maintained friendships with people she knew since kindergarten but always enjoyed meeting new people. Her outgoing spirit was contagious and loving, someone that you would love to know. A memorial service is planned for Helene at 12PM on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Crossroads Community Church, 4315 S. Moorland Road, New Berlin, WI. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the following: Crossroads Community Church, St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital or The Humane Society of Wisconsin.
