Szymanski, Helena (nee Bernat) Passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the age of 96. Loving Wife of the late Bronislaw "Bruno" for 65 years. Dear mother of Henry (Barbara) Szymanski and Irene (Eugene) Bembenek. Beloved grandmother of Hilary (David) Gazeley. Great-grandmother of Emmett and Theodore. Helen and Bruno immigrated from Europe, arriving in 1950, becoming naturalized citizens in 1956. She was a lifelong South Side resident. Visitation at St. John Paul II Parish, St. Alexander Church, 3344 S 16th St, Milwaukee, on Wednesday, December 5 from 9:30 AM - 10:30am. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Entombment at St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Agrace Hospice, 2901 N. Wright Rd. Janesville, WI 53546 or Rainbow Hospice Care 147 W.
