Harry L. Troy

Troy Harry L. Passed away peacefully Monday July 18, 2011. Age 85. Preceeded in death by his loving wife, Colleen. Father of Gary L. (Barbara), Grandfather of Dr. Benjamin L (Kimberlyn). Great grandfather of Braedon and Jessalyn. Grandfather of Jonathan L (Kristin), Great grandfather of Madison. Brother of Shirley (Cosmo) Salamido. Visitation at the funeral home Sunday July 24, 4-7 pm. Funeral service 7 pm. Private burial at St Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to Good Samaritan outreach, 5924 W. Burnham, West Allis, WI. Harry was born in Milwaukee. After serving in the Army Air Corps, He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BS in Chemical Engineering. He then took over management of Troy Co, a plumbing contracting firm. He had great pride in his work and friendship of many people in the industry. His encouragement and support was instrumental to many employees and friends. Harry was a member of the Metropolitan Builders Association, Plumbing and Mechanical Contractors Association and American Society of Sanitary Engineers. Harry was a private pilot who enjoyed many hours in the air traveling throughout the country. He was also a member of the Quiet Birdmen and a charter member of the City of Hope.
