Harry J. Strass

Strass, Harry J. Passed away August 25, 2011 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 47 years Alice "Sweetheart", his parents John and Pauline, sister Margaret and brother Edward. He is survived by his loving daughter Mary Jo Chelstowski; step-children Carol Giefer, Russell (Adeline) Watts and Carole (Lawrence) Pozarski; grandchildren Dale, Vicki, Tracy, Brian, Craig and Joy. Further survived by four great-grandchildren, six nieces, one nephew and friends. Harry was a proud Navy veteran of WWII serving on the USS Davison as a FC3. He worked at American Motors for 25 years. He so enjoyed being a part of the Sept. 19, 2010 Stars and Stripes Honor Flight to Washington D.C. Visitation at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 30 from 4-6pm. Funeral Service at 6pm. Interment Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Wednesday at 10am.
