Gudrun R. Boyd "Goo"

Gudrun R. Boyd "Goo" Joined her beloved husband Ronny of 44 years on July 5, 2021 at the age of 76. Mom of Lorri (Mike) Riedel, the late Rick (Diana) St. John, John (the late Fotini) Boyd and Liz (Mike) Swiatek. Grandma of Benjamin (Gabi) Riedel, Danielle Riedel, Mikey (Willa) St. Middaugh, Katey St. John, Maria Boyd, Allanah Boyd, Ronny Boyd, Sean Johnson, Tory Johnson and Alex Johnson. Further loved and survived by great grandchildren, other family and friends. Preceded in death by her loving mother Helen Reinecke and dearest sister Joyce Lian. Gudrun “Goo” lived her life as a true and faithful Christian should. Her giving and loving nature came so natural to her – putting everyone’s wants and needs before her own and always with a sincere smile. Her family and friends meant everything to her. Goo didn’t have hobbies that took her far from home and family – just being with loved ones and sharing memories was all that she every needed. The only exception was her love for the Hallmark network and her most favorite movies but even then she enjoyed them more with people surrounding her. Another one of Goo’s favorite things to do was to cook her world famous spaghetti with meatballs, beef barely soup and of course her cheesecake for anyone who would simply mention it! This brought her so much joy to see the look on your face when you were given the kettle full of her goodies. No matter what was going on in her life she made it a point to take care of everyone she knew and with the most tender care possible. Mom “Goo” will be missed by so many of us that loved her so but we can take comfort in knowing that heaven has one of the BEST now. Visitation at Grace Lutheran Church 3381 E. Puetz Rd. Oak Creek, on Monday, July 12th, 9:30 AM - 11 AM. Funeral service at 11 AM. Entombment at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Luncheon to follow – details given after the service.
