Gregory G Kaczmarek, Pewaukee, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at the age of 67.
Greg was born on July 28, 1955, to Roy and Ellie (nee Ramponi). He was the loving husband of the late Susan Kaczmarek (nee Evinrude) who he married in 1979, and who had been Greg’s best friend, soul mate and life partner.
Greg attended Pulaski High School in Milwaukee and received his Associates Degree from MATC. He excelled at a 42-year working career at Superior Die Set as a Scheduling Manager.
Greg and Sue enjoyed traveling the country, and spending as much time as possible at their cottage near Wautoma. He took great pleasure in his much-loved home in Franklin for over 40 years, and loved nature drives, rides on their Harley and their dogs, Rowdy & Bella. In addition to Greg’s love of his family, he was a passionate NASCAR enthusiast, and was keen on the Packers and Brewers. Greg’s naturally born skill of motors found him working on cars, but he always found time for golf, fishing, music, animals and blazing bon-fires. He loved to tell stories and was just one hilarious guy!
Greg is survived by his brother-in-law Tom Oelmann, sister Mary (nee Kaczmarek) and John Moser, brother Dave Kaczmarek (Tina Jensen), sister Diana Gallegos (nee Kaczmarek), and sister-in-law Sister Patricia Evinrude, SSND. He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews, 17 great nieces and nephews, his long-time great friend Frank Janiszewski and Lois, who took extra special care of Greg and Sue, along with many other beloved relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Sue, who passed on April 13, 2022, his dad and mom, Roy and Ellie, sister Marty (nee Kaczmarek) Oelmann, and other much-loved aunts and uncles.
