Gordon Daniel Jasinski, of Greenfield, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 8, 2024, at the age of 87. Born in Milwaukee on October 2, 1937, to the late Henry and Viola.
Those who knew him will remember Gordon a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was enjoying a game of golf or cribbage, cheering on his beloved Wisconsin sports teams, or indulging in his favorite pastime of thrifting, which he fondly referred to as "junking." His enthusiasm for collecting treasures was matched only by his love for his family, which served as a constant source of pride and happiness.
Gordon is survived by his loving family: his children Daniel (Nathalie), Mark, Michele (John), and Dave (Annemarie); his grandchildren Andrew (Ashley), Jake (Allie), David (Jessica), Michael, Nick (Skye), Lindsey (Kyle), Micheline, Matthew, and Rachel; his sister Audrey (Louis) and dear friend Marcy. Together, they carry forward the legacy of kindness and warmth that Gordon instilled in them.He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Patricia and siblings Harry, Rose, Ruth, Eddie, Gertie, Ray, and an infant brother Jon. Also remembered fondly is his friend Uncle Red, who shared in the fabric of Gordon's life and adventures.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel (4747 S. 60th Street, Greenfield, WI). Friends, family, and all who were touched by Gordon’s kindness and spirit are invited to join in sharing memories and celebrating a life well lived. Burial will take place at a later date in St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery, Milwaukee.
