Gordon “Butch” Lawson Age 84 years, passed away on March 4, 2022 at the Ascension SE Wisconsin Hospital in Franklin, WI. Born in Adams, MA on July 22nd 1937 to the late Gilbert and Eva (Alderman). Gordon was an Army veteran, serving from 1956 until his honorable discharge in 1959. He was a long time machine mechanic at the Wisconsin Paperboard, until retiring in 2002. An avid hunter and fisherman, he spent many weekends on his houseboat on the Mississippi River. Survived by wife Maryann; children Gordon, Sandra Sansevera (Jim), Suzanne, Edgar, Jason (Melanie) and step-daughter Jennifer Andrews. Further survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by sons Michael and Shawn; brothers Gilbert, John, Francis “Jimmy”, Harold and George; and sisters Claire Juif, Elinor Caffrey and Betty Szufnarowski. Per Gordon’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. Instead, lift a toast to him at your favorite local bar, or enjoy the outdoors as he did.
