Gloria J. Knoblauch

Gloria Knoblauch passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at the age of 65 after a difficult struggle with Alzheimer’s. Cherished wife of Jim Knoblauch for over 47 years. Loving mother to Dan Knoblauch (Margit Seitz), Michelle Knoblauch, and Noelle Knoblauch (Chris Wenger). Proud grandmother to Lianna Knoblauch. Further survived by sister Darlene Slotke and brother Larry Berg.    Gloria was a beloved early childhood educator in the North Shore community for almost 30 years. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Gloria. She loved sitting outside with a glass of wine, bike rides, anything related to Harry Potter, spending time up North with family and friends, and shoes…she really liked shoes.   We would like to thank all the nurses and caregivers at The Mayo Clinic, The Bay at St. Ann’s, and especially Zilber Family Hospice for taking such good care of her. Harry Potter was her favorite book and movie series, so in the words of one of her favorite literary characters: “Love as powerful as your mother’s for you leaves its own mark.
