Heian, Glenn A. Franklin, WI- Reunited with his beloved wife Dolores (nee Eigenschink) on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the age of 89. Loving dad of Jeffrey (April) Heian, Scott Heian, Jacqueline (Daryl) Nirode, Susan Salmon and Denise Heian. Cherished grandpa of Ashley (Jim), Justin, Kimberly (Nick), Rebecca, Andrew, Laura (David), Lindsay, Christopher, Casey and Maxwell. Proud great-grandpa of Ethan, Aaron, Owen, Mackenzie, Cameron, Charley and Payton. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Mabel Heian and his brother Edward Heian. Glenn was born and raised in Stanley, WI and resided in Franklin, WI since 1964. He served in the National Guard from 1948 – 1964, and was a dedicated employee of over 40 years at Metso Minerals (Allis-Chalmers) as a Senior Engineer. Glenn was a member of House of Prayer Lutheran Church in Franklin, the Franklin Walking Club, Lunch Bunch and the AC Oldtimers. He enjoyed traveling, reading, family time, walking, telling stories of his childhood/life, working on his computer and organizing family history. Special thanks to House of Prayer Lutheran Church, Franklin, Brenwood Assisted Living, Franklin, Ascension Hospital, Franklin and Seasons Hospice, Oak Creek. Visitation at the Max A. Sass & Sons Mission Hills Chapel on Thursday, October 14 from 5 – 7 PM. Funeral Service at 7 PM. Private inurnment East Side Cemetery, Stanley, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to House of Prayer Lutheran Church, 3900 W. Ryan Road, Franklin or Seasons Hospice, 2700 Honadel Blvd., Oak Creek.
