Gilbert “Gil” Hulita of Greendale was peacefully reunited with his wife Janice on Saturday, June 4, 2022. Gil was born in Milwaukee on November 25, 1936. Gil was preceded in death by his parents Viktor and Anna (nee Sauer) Hulita, and his three brothers, Robert, Richard, and Jerome, and his beloved wife Janice of 57 years. He is survived by his son Jeffrey (Janice), daughter Lisa Moffett (Michael), his wonderful grandsons Jack and Bryce, and four granddogs. Gil worked as a draftsman at the Falk Corporation for 42 years, and in retirement was an HO train enthusiast, skillfully building models for train layouts which he would sell on eBay. Some of Gil’s best memories were those of cruising the world with Jan, and spending time with his family. A special thank you to all of Gil’s Oakwood Street neighbors for your kindness and friendship throughout the decades, and to Gil’s newly found friends and staff at Harbour Village in Greendale. Sincere appreciation to Ascension Franklin and Compassus Hospice for their compassionate care of Gil throughout the last couple months. In accordance with Gil wishes a private family gathering will take place.
