Sanfilippo, Germaine A. nee Schneider. Born to Eternal Life on October 28, 2007. Age 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Nicholas. Loving mother of Jill, Nicholas (Carla) and Carolyn (Alan) Klein. Loving grandmother of John, Justin, Kristin, Hannah, Sarah and Nicholas. Dear sister of Richard (Georgia) Schneider and Sister Joanne Schneider B.V.M. Further survived by other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Sat. Nov. 3, 10 AM at ST. CHARLES BORROMEO PARISH, 3214 W. PARNELL AVE. Interment Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. Visitation on Sat. AT THE CHURCH from 8:30 AM until time of Mass. Germaine loved music. She was a piano teacher and renowned pianist. She taught piano since age 12 for 72 years. She played the oboe in the Catholic Symphony Orchestra and was also featured as a piano soloist at age 12. She was a mentor to hundreds of future musicians. She also enjoyed traveling the world with her husband. She was a devoted wife and mother and a wonderful, generous grandmother. She enjoyed being around family and friends whom she loved to entertain. She will be missed.
