Pokrzywinski, Gerald Martin "Jerry" Passed into Eternal Life on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at the age of 69. Beloved husband of the late Mary Joyce (nee Filut). Loving father of Lynn (David) Cooklock and Theresa (David) Whitted. Proud grandpa of Callen and Ryan Cooklock, Christopher and Daniel Kruk and Riley Whitted. Special friend of Ardeth "Blossom" Thomas and her son Mark Ollenburg. Loving brother of Elizabeth (Chuck) Engibous, Ronald (Kathy) Pokrzywinski and Donald Pokrzywinski. Further survived by brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends and his constant companion Melbee, his cat. Jerry was a veteran of the Army, serving his country stationed in Alaska. Upon his return home he worked for many years at Evinrude Motors and lastly at Schaefer Brush Mfg. Co. as a tool and die maker. As health permitted he was an avid bow and rifle hunter and enjoyed fishing and camping. Jerry was a member of West Allis Bowmen. Visitation at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 21 from 9-10:30am. Procession to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Milwaukee Humane Society, appreciated.
