George Willard Kees

George Willard Kees Passed away peacefully at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center on June 27, 2021 at the age of 88. Loving father of William Kees (Dawn Conway) and Laura Skonecki (nee Kees) (Derek Ketelhohn). Dear brother of Leslie (the late Norma) Kees and the late Donald (the late Lillian) Kees. Preceded in death by his wife Patricia Ann Kees and his parents Leslie and Sylvia Kees. Further survived by other loved relatives and friends. George was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was also a dedicated employee of the City of Milwaukee Public Works Department for 33 years. George’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the palliative care unit at the VA for their kind and compassionate care. Visitation will be held at Max A. Sass & Sons-Oklahoma Chapel (1515 W. Oklahoma Ave., Milwaukee) on Friday, July 9 starting at 4PM until time of service at 7PM. Entombment at Forest Home Cemetery at a later date.
