George R. Coles

Coles, George R. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on November 25, 2018 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Rosmarie for 60 years. Loving Dad of Angelina (John Jr.) Palese, Cilvia (John) Lewis and Barbara (Mike) Brandt. Proud Grandpa of Rachel (Patrick) Drayna, Christopher (Shannon), Catherine and John III (Ashley) Palese, Erica (Richard) Tolentino, Nicolle (Joseph) Skoien, Andrew (Beth) Brandt and Danielle (Timothy) Gabrhel. Treasured Opa of 10 great-grandchildren. Further survived by other relatives and many friends. Visitation is Thursday, November 29, from 9 AM to 11 AM at Norway Lutheran Church, 6321 Heg Park Road, Wind Lake, WI. A Funeral Service followed by military honors will take place immediately after the visitation. Private internment. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials in George’s name be made to CurePSP (https://www.psp.org/) or the Norway Lutheran Church Building Fund. George served his country for 4 years in the United States Air Force as a Communications Electronics Technician then went on to serve in the same capacity with the Department of Defense for 15 years before joining the Federal Aviation Administration. George served the FAA for 22 years before retiring in 1996. He was a passionate volunteer. George served his community through the Wind Lake Lions Club, the American Red Cross First Aid Service Team, and as an Usher and Woodworker at Norway Lutheran Church. “Well done, my good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:21)
