Gary J "Gary Bags" Bagrowski

Bagrowski, Gary J. "Gary Bags" Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the family he laughed with, lived for and loved on Friday, February 6, 2015. Gary was born on July 5, 1935 in Milwaukee to Stanley and Pearl (nee Werkowski) Bagrowski. Dear husband for over 58 years of Jackie (nee Potrikus). Loving father of Sue (Peter), Ann (Michael) and Julie (Steven). Proud grandfather of Tim (Jess), Nick, Amy, Olivia, Ava, Addison and Sam. Brother-in-law of Rick (Sue) Potrikus and Jim (the late Pamela) Kobelinski. Uncle of Jason and Andrew (Cyra) Kobelinski. Also survived by cousins, friends and neighbors. Gary was a 38-year retiree of AMC/Chrysler parts division, a loyal member of UAW Local 75, a member of the Executive Board of the Retiree Group, and past member of the AMC Credit Committee. Gary loved all things Badgers and Packers and was always happy to join in a "game of chance". In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Milwaukee Rescue Mission or the St. Vincent de Paul chapter of St. John Paul II Parish. The family would like to express thanks and appreciation to the staff of Zilber Family Hospice and the loving and dedicated staff of Bridgeway and Evergreen units at Clement Manor. Gary is walking through the gates of heaven, standing tall without a walker or wheelchair reunited with family, old friends and neighbors.
