Kitchen, Gary W. Age 53 years. Taken away tragically on December 25, 2007. Beloved husband of Barb (nee Makoutz). Loving son of Clarence (fiancee Duane) and the late Margaret Lyon. Dearest brother of Vicki (Mark) Flejter, Richard Kitchen, Jennifer Eigner, Patti (Greg) Pietrowiak and Penny (Jim) Reifschneider. Loving uncle of Vanessa, Jacklyn, Katelynn and Elizabeth. Further survived by other relatives and many friends. Gary was an employee of the Union-Pacific Railroad and a distinguished 28 year Army veteran. Kitchen, Barb L. (nee Makoutz). Age 52 years. Taken away tragically on December 25, 2007. Beloved wife of Gary. Loving daughter of John and the late Caroline. Dearest sister of Joanne (Frederick) Reich, Nancy (Patrick) Ryan and the late David Makoutz. Loving aunt of Bryan, James, Jason, Adam and Michael. Further survived by other relatives and many friends. Barb was a valued employee of N.A.C.C.C. Gary and Barb are also survived by their beloved dogs, Elmo and Ollie. Gary and Barb were a loving, compassionate and giving couple, and their lives reflected their Christian beliefs. Visitation Sun. Dec. 30 from 4-7 PM at the MAX A. SASS & SONS GREENRIDGE CHAPEL, 4747 S. 60th St. with a Funeral Service at 7 PM. Cemetery committal services for Gary and Barb will take place on Mon. Dec. 31, 11 AM at Arlington Park Cemetery, 4100 S. 27th St. (Please meet at cemetery gate).
