Gail Taborshak

Gail Taborshak (nee Greppi),

81, passed away on Thursday November 10, 2022.


She was born on September 17, 1941, to the late Frederick and Evelyn (nee Martins) Greppi in Milwaukee. Gail was united in marriage to the love of her life Raymond “Ray Tabs” on November 7, 1959, in Milwaukee at the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Gail and Ray shared a love that was written for the movies. Gail was Ray’s number one fan. She was the “life of

the party”. She loved entertaining and being entertained. She was a foodie especially anything sweet, State Fair cream puffs and roasted corn, any burger and lobster were some of her most favorite foods. Gail loved her family and took such joy in the little things. She loved baking with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Gail loved to travel and being on the water Trips to Hawaii, the Caribbean, Mexico, and Jamaica were some of her favorites and she loved to sample the local foods.


She loved her work ... St. Luke’s Hospital, Dean Clinic in Madison, and West Allis Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s. She adored her work friends who turned into forever friends and family.


Gail is survived by her daughters Kim Rose, Debra (Kevin) Krause and Shelly (Dave) Koehler, grandchildren Jennifer (Pablo), Shannon, Justin (Mandy), Bret (Jessie), Jake, Abby (Justin), Hannah, Klarissa and Braedon, great-grandchildren Savannah, Anthony, Sophia, Gianni, Jude, Ellis, Peyton, Baby Freya, and Baby Thein. Brother Lee (Vicki) Harris, Brother-in-law Wayne Hudzinski, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.


She was preceded in death by the love of her life Ray, her siblings Lynn Hudzinski and Gary Harris.


Visitation at the MAX A SASS & SONS SOUTH SHORE CHAPEL (1314 Manitoba Ave., South Milwaukee) on Saturday, November 19, from 10 AM until time of service at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Association Wisconsin.


Gail touched so many lives and will be truly missed.
