Fred was preceded in death by his loving parents, Robert and Ruth Kreuser, his sister-in-law, Colette Kreuser, brother-in-law, John White, and nephew, Zack Kreuser, and two dogs Prince and Zack. Their reunion in Heaven brings comfort to those who mourn Fred's passing. He had a special Christian faith and prayer gave him deep and meaningful comfort.

Fred was the youngest of eight siblings and uncle to 18 nieces and nephews. From his earliest days, he brought a unique and special light to the lives of his family members. He was a source of inspiration for everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
After the passing of his parents, Fred lived with his sister Kathy, who became his legal guardian showing love, dedication, and selfless devotion to Fred’s needs. He lived with Kathy and her husband Doug and their children, Warren, Stuart, Amelia and Spencer for 15 years.
Despite facing the challenges associated with Down Syndrome, Fred lived a life full of accomplishments and joy. He was an active participant in Special Olympics, where he showcased not only his athletic abilities but his lively spirit, determination, and kindness. Fred worked diligently for most of his adult life, as a bagger at Pick & Save and a dishwasher at St. John’s Military Academy, further demonstrating his resilience and character.
Fred had a variety of passions that brought him immeasurable happiness. His love for Paint by Numbers and collaging allowed him to creatively express himself. He LOVED dancing and dominated the dance floor with his awesome moves. Golf, Zilch, fishing, puzzles, NASCAR, time at the cabin and the camaraderie of deer camp were among his cherished pastimes as well as visiting siblings around the country, each providing him with moments of joy and connection with those he loved.
As we reflect on Fred's life, let us remember the lessons of love, resilience, and joy that he imparted to us all. In honoring his memory, we continue to celebrate the simple pleasures and embrace the uniqueness of every individual, just as Fred did throughout his remarkable journey.
