Frank P. Lehmann died peacefully in his home on August 23, 2018. He was 76 years old. Frank was proudly born in Berlin, Germany on September 13, 1941. He immigrated to America in October of 1952, the same year his soulmate and wife of 39 years, Mary was born. After graduating from Milwaukee Lutheran High School, he joined the United States Army and ultimately served as a E4/Personnel Specialist, Linguist and Marksman. He began working at Bayview Packing in Milwaukee as a teenager, proudly alongside the Liebner Boys, packing herring and pickled eggs until he was 70 years old; He loved it. As his full-time career, he worked as the Director of Operations for a local advertising company. Anyone who knew Frank knew his passion for all things historical and could recall historical information at the drop of a hat. He loved to travel on vacations by car and absorb all that this country had to offer. Some of his favorites included visiting wineries with his love, Mary and taking his family on trips to historical destinations. He enjoyed many good times on Legend Lake, fishing trips to Canada with his son, Dan, family hikes in local parks and taking in ball games at Miller Park. He was extremely proud of his German heritage and loved to take his family annually to German Fest, regaling them with stories about the Old Country. An avid cook, he spoiled his wife and family with special and simple cuisine. He loved to compare notes and razz his daughter, Lauralei who would often compete with him over who makes it best. His daughter Malanie tried many times throughout her life to win a game of cribbage against him, but his skills were just too sharp. Frank is survived by his loving wife Mary; three children, Daniel Wall Jr. (wife Paula), Malanie Von Haden (wife Lisa), and Lauralei Schmidling (husband Eric). He is also survived by his eight grandchildren; Tony, Hannah, Mackenzie, Colin, Charlie, Lucas, Connor and Bodhi. He is further survived by many endured family and friends.
