Neuwald, Frank H. of West Allis, WI. Born to Eternal Life Saturday, July 1, 2017 at the age of 92. Born in Herzebrock, Germany on December 30, 1924. Beloved Husband and Best Friend of Marie (nee Zeltinger) for 70 years this August 16th. Cherished Father of Paul (Mindy Brooks), Andrew (Sandra), Peter (Gretchen), Mary (Bill) Vanik, David, Barbara (David) Kurudza, and the late twins Michael and Mark. Adored Grandfather of Jennifer (Everette), Heather (Nate), Elsa (Ed), Magdalen Maggie, Sara (Chris), Ben (Jessica), Jon, Matthew (Mia), Stephen, and Elena. Doting Great-Grandfather of Julia, Claire, Elise, Riley, Tristan, Ava, Amelia, Tyler, Ella, and Ezra. Loving brother of Charlotte (Bob) Steck, the late Elizabeth (the late Ed) Stieg, the late Ernest, and the late Nancy Farren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 9:30AM to 10:45AM at ST. ALPHONSUS PARISH, 6060 W. Loomis Rd. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11AM. Private interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Frank was a devoted family man who enjoyed the outdoors immensely, and passed on this love of nature as a legacy to his family along with a deep appreciation for learning music, art, woodworking, gardening, boating, fishing, hunting and more. He was a proud WWII Army veteran, and recipient of both Purple Heart and Bronze Star awards. He was also a proud graduate of Marquette University College of Engineering and enjoyed a long career in manufacturing management at General Electric and General Motors, and the bulk of his career at Outboard Marine Corporation (OMC - Evinrude). At Geliebtesland, his beloved Catfish Lake home in Eagle River, Frank orchestrated family gatherings that created lifelong memories cherished by all. Memorials, if so desired, may be made to Aurora VNA Zilber Family Hospice, Catholic Relief Services, the Milwaukee Rescue Mission, or St. Alphonsus Parish. Franks family would like to extend a special thanks to Fathers Allen Jurkus, Britto Suresh and Aaron Esch for their compassionate pastoral care and understanding of Franks deep devotion to the Holy Spirit.
