Frances B. Wood

(Nee Kwasny) aged 87, of Green Bay, WI, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2024, in South Milwaukee, WI. Born on March 9, 1937, Frances lived a life marked by deep faith, unwavering love, and thoughtful kindness, touching the hearts of all who knew her.

Frances spent her years as a devoted homemaker, a role she cherished and through which she created a warm and welcoming home for her family and friends. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene Wood, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories and a love that served as a beacon of commitment and affection.

A loving mother, Frances is survived by her five sons, Robert (LaVonne), Lawrence (Julie), Thomas (Amanda), Peter (Julie), and Jay (the late Leeanna). Her legacy continues through her seventeen grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all of whom she adored. Frances's nurturing spirit and unwavering support were the cornerstones of her family, providing a foundation of love that will live on for generations.

In addition to her immediate family, Frances will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Her ability to make each person feel uniquely loved and valued was one of her most remarkable gifts.

Throughout her life, Frances was a devout Catholic, her faith guiding her every step and decision. She found solace and strength in her beliefs, and her faith-filled nature was an inspiration to those around her. Her commitment to her faith community was evident in her involvement and the relationships she built within it.

Frances had a passion for reading, often found with a book in hand, lost in stories and knowledge. Her love for reading was a testament to her constant desire to learn and grow, a trait she passed on to her children and grandchildren.

Those who knew Frances would describe her as a beacon of love and thoughtfulness. She had the remarkable ability to listen intently, offer wise counsel, and provide comfort without expecting anything in return. Her presence was a source of calm and reassurance, making her a confidante to many.

The legacy Frances leaves behind is not measured in material possessions but in the profound impact she had on the lives of those she touched. Her example of selfless love, her commitment to her family, and her unwavering faith have left an indelible mark that will not be forgotten.

Frances B. Wood's life was a testament to the power of love and faith. As we bid farewell to this exceptional woman, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she loved.
