Florence Greevers

Greevers, Florence Of Thomasboro, Il, age 84, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at her home. She was born March 27, 1923 in Milwaukee, WI, a daughter of John and Caroline (Yuzba) Baldewicz. She married Sigmund Greevers on August 31, 1946 at St. Adalbert Church, Milwaukee. He survives. She is also survived by her children; James (Pauline) Greevers of Milwaukee, David (Barbara) Greevers of Milwaukee, Marjorie (Michael) Johnson of Thomasboro, Carol (T.J.) Duncan of Reno, 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, her brother Art (Lucy) Baldewicz, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 6 brothers. Florence was a military wife and moved with her husband and children throughout the United States, settling in Thomasboro, IL in 1975. She enjoyed bowling and gardening and was an avid reader. She also loved to work crossword puzzles. A visitation will be held on Monday, March 31, 2008 from 11am to 1:30pm at the MAX A. SASS & SONS GREENRIDGE CHAPEL. Interment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
