Gomez Felicitas "Feliz" (nee Avila) Went to be with the Lord on October 31, 2018 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Andres Gomez. Loving mother of the late Carlos Avila, Anita (Hernan D) Gonzalez and Pedro Gomez. Step-mother of Andres Gomez Jr., Sylvia Mondragon, Monica Esters, Anna Marie Juarez and Hector Gomez. Sister of Petra Avila, Dionicio (Katie) Avila, Paula Gutierrez, Mario Avila, Alvaro (Alicia) Avila, Juanita (Santos) Salazar, Elena Avila, Santiago (Mary) Avila and Elia (Manuel) Ruiz. Also survived by grandson Sebastian Gonzalez, step-grand children, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Memorial visitation at Max Sass funeral home, Oklahoma Ave Chapel, on Monday, November 5th, 5 PM - 8 PM with a memorial service at 6 PM. Feliz was blessed with creativity, positive energy and best of all humor. After graduating as a chef from MATC she later completed 3.5 years of studies at UWM. She was obsessed with crocheting, loved to share her cooking talents and was ALWAYS ready to learn new crafts. You will truly be missed!
