Evelyn E. Hibben

Hibben, Evelyn E. Evie passed away peacefully on Friday, February 20, 2015 at age 95. She will be remembered fondly as a loving wife, mother, sister and friend to all. She was an avid golfer with the Grant Park Ladies Club. She spent many wonderful weekends with her hubby, Don, at their beautiful cabin up north. A gardening enthusiast, she loved the great outdoors. Evie (& Don) were tremendous animal lovers their dogs and cats 'ruled the roost'. Evie greeted everyone with her beautiful smile and her warm embrace. She brought the sunshine with her every day. Evie joined her beloved husband, Don, sister Elaine and brother Bob. Loving mother of Mike (Phyllis) and Ron (Susan). Proud grandmother of Sheila, Shane, Nicole (Milton) Leganchuk, Shaun (Amber), Step Grandmother of Stephanie (Jordan) Greene and Melissa Brand and great-grandmother of Alexei, Sabrina, Joshua and Jillian. She will be greatly missed. Evie was an angel in life and one now since she has passed on. The family wishes to thank St Ann Center for Intergenerational Care, St. Luke's South Shore (ER, 3rd, 4th floors) and Aurora Zilber Hospice for their wonderful and compassionate care of Evie.
