Charette, Eugene T. "Gene" Age 77 years. Of Grafton. Went home to the Lord on March 29, 2018. Beloved husband of Patricia "Pat". Loving Father of Darcy Tomaszewski, Kathy Brown, David Schultz, Karen (Richard) Moran, Cheri (Ken) Schraufnagel, Teri (Scott) Moseler. Proud Grandfather of Katy, Richard, Chris, Dustin, Devin, Dakota, Dyllan, Jennifer, Jacob, Luke, & Paige. Delighted Great Grandfather of Charlie and Lynett. Cherished Brother of Everett (Jane) Charette and Evelyn (Robert) Grota. Dear Brother-in-law of Judy (Donald) Tomaszewski and Ed Lundergan. Preceded in death by his Parents Reuben & Evelyn Charette, Sister Cathleen Lundergan, and Brother-in-laws Donald Tomaszewski and Robert Grota. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Gene was a member of Christian Business Men's Committee and DPMA for many years (also served as DPMA President). He attended Marquette High School and graduated in 1958. Ordained for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, St. Francis Seminary in 1966 and was active in the Priesthood until 1971. He attended Marquette University for additional theological studies. Employee of Robert E. Larson & Assoc. 1972-1982 as a Personnel Consultant. Owned and operated "Charette & Company", an Executive Search Firm, from 1982-1995. Employee of Manpower Milwaukee from 1996-2011. He will be forever remembered for his remarkable communication skills, compassion for others, and love of dry humor. He was an inspiration to us all by always putting his Faith & Family first. His profound faith touched the lives of many! He was an incredible example on how to live a life in Christ. He will be missed greatly, but his spirit will live on in all the lives he has touched. Funeral Services will be held Sat. April 14, with visitation from 9-11:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1619 Washington St. in Grafton. In lieu of flowers, memorials to American Diabetes Association and Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation are greatly appreciated.
