He took great pride as an employee of Allen Bradley where he retired from. He has served as a long-time volunteer at St. Francis Hospital. He will be greatly missed by his two furry pals, Odie and Bailey who eagerly watched and waited for him on Sundays when he always came for Sunday dinner and all those Packer games. He always made sure they got a handful of dog bones and other goodies including hot ham and rolls. Special thanks and appreciation to the nursing staff of St. Francis’ ICU and 6 North who took care of Gene with so much compassion. Private services will be held. Entombment at St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Wisconsin Humane Society are appreciated. We ask for prayers that a cure will be found for COVID-19.
