Nowicki, Eugene A. "Gene" Born to Eternal Life on July 13, 2009 at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of Bernadine (nee Budzish) for over 60 years. Caring dad of Michael (Laura). Special uncle of Robert (Sue) Grutza and Kathleen (Gary) Zube. Proud grandpa of Michael (Johni) Nowicki Jr., Jason (Angie) Nowicki, Lisa (Cris) Schneider, Lynn (Gil) Paszkowski and Tech Sgt. Bobby John (Lisa) Giedeman. Great grandpa of Reese, Codi, Isiah, Elaine, Sophie, Lydia, Jake, Luke, Alyssa Jo and Mitchell. Brother of John "Jackie" and Dolores. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service Saturday 11 am at the Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral Home. Visitation Saturday 10-11 am. Private interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Gene was a graduate of Pulaski High School, proudly served his country as a combat engineer with the 40th Engineers during WW II and was an employee of Allis-Chalmers/Siemens. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated.
