Anastasi, Ethel E. (Nee Clementi) Taken to Heaven unexpectedly on Monday, May 12, 2008 at the age of 89. Preceded in death by her husband, Sam, sister, Frances (John) Gumina, Florence (Charles)Doria, brother John (Cecelia) Clementi and Anthony (Lois) Clementi. Survived by Phillip (Kathy) Anastasi, Maria (David) Almquist, Angela (Mark) Anastasi and Florence (Jon) Zickermann. Also survived by grandchildren Edwin Thaves, LyAnn Buena Franco, Justin and Amanda Almquist, Phillip and Thomas Anastasi, Jon Zickermann Jr., and Allegra Anastasi Wudtke and two great grandchildren, Zoe and Peyton Buena Franco. Also survived by sister Elvita Clementi, sister in law Josephine Oliva, good friend Carol Sheldon and many friends and relatives. Ethel loved poetry, nature, walking, shopping and playing cards. But most of all she loved her family. We hope your heavenly sidewalks are smooth and filled with beauty. Funeral Mass Friday 1 PM at Old St. Mary Catholic Church, 836 N. Broadway. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 4 PM to 7 PM at the funeral home with a 6 PM prayer service.
