Esther B. Sarozek

Sarozek, Esther B. (nee Wagie) Boarded her Heavenly flight on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at the age of 98. Born in Janesville, WI on April 16, 1912 to Bertha and John Wagie. Beloved wife of the late Edmund, whom she married on November 12, 1932. Loving mother of seven children, Lill(Bob)Amsden, Raymond(Gerry)Sarozek, Robert(Lili)Sarozek, Chris(Lee)Schweitzer, Elsie "Vickie" (Don)Bodell, Narcy(Debbie)Sarozek and Lou Ann(Dan)Pluta. Sister of John, Eugene and Frederick. Also loved by 26 grandchildren, 48 gr. grandchildren, 10 gr. gr. grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her sister Ruth and brothers Carl, Art and Walter Esther was active in the PTA at View School and the Democratic Party. She was a fabulous cook at many downtown restaurants. We'll all miss mother's home-made buns and German potato salad. Please come and celebrate her life at the visitation at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 3222 S. 29th St., on Thursday, July 29 from 9:30-11:15am. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am. Burial at St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers and plants, a memorial donation to the Salvation Army is appreciated.
