Grandfather of Steven Jr. (Kristin) Balistreri, Tony (Rita) Balistreri, Joe (MaryJo) Balistreri, Steven Jr. Braatz, Bryan (Abby) Braatz. Great grandfather of Mia, Steven III, Anna, Isabella, Vincent and Eleanor Balistreri. Brother of Trudy (Don) Hudson. Preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Constance Braatz (nee Symanski). Further survived by other relatives, Friends and neighbors. Visitation at St Alphonsus Catholic Church. 6060 W. Loomis Rd. Thursday May 27, 10 am-12:45pm. Mass of Christian Burial at 1 pm. Entombment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to Habitat for Humanity or the charity of your choice. Erv served his country in the Army during WWII.
