Ernest J. Kierzek, Jr., affectionately known as Ernie, passed away on November 6, 2023, at the age of 79 in Menomonee Falls, WI. Born in Milwaukee, WI on November 6, 1944, Ernie's life was marked by kindness, a keen sense of humor, and an exceptional talent for working with his hands.


Ernie was the beloved husband of 29 years to the late Mary C. Kierzek, fondly known as Chris. He was a loving father to Eric (Suzie) Kierzek, Holly (Bob) Sutherland, and Julie Kierzek, and a caring step-father to Michael (Tracy) Moyes. His warmth and wisdom will be greatly missed by his grandchildren: Evan, Jordynn, Brianna (Derrek) Miller, Gabriella Sutherland, Robby Sutherland, Raymond, and Josh Fettig. Ernie was the supportive brother of Ken (Kathie), Robert (Barb), and the late Jeff (Donna). His memory will continue to be cherished by his extended family and numerous friends.


Ernie was a skilled professional who dedicated his career to the automotive industry. He served as a mechanic, service writer, and represented the heart of customer service. His colleagues respected his expertise and his customers appreciated his honest, straightforward approach. Ernie's commitment to his craft was evident in the quality of his work and the loyalty of his clientele.


Beyond his professional achievements, Ernie had a passion for woodworking and stained glass. His creativity and technical skills combined to produce beautiful pieces that will continue to be treasured by those who received them. He also had a love for cooking, delighting family and friends with his culinary creations. Ernie’s hobbies were not just pastimes, but expressions of his generous spirit and love for his family.


Ernie was known for his kindness. He had a remarkable ability to connect with people, making everyone he met feel valued and important. He was also known for his sense of humor. Visitation will be held at the MAX A. SASS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, Oklahoma Ave Chapel, on Friday, November 17th from 10AM To 12 PM. Service at 12 PM. Interment at St. Adalbert Cemetery to follow.
