"Ami" "Granny"
(nee Arellano) Found peace on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, after a courageous battle. Age 63. Beloved wife of Michael for 28 years. Loving mother of Jamie Berta, Domingo and Nicole Marie. Granny of Allux, Maria, Zach, Annaliz and Xaiayza. Great-granny of Makwa. Sister of Greg and Pete. Sister-in-law of Bernadette. Further survived by other relatives and friends, who all affectionately referred to her as Granny.
Emma adopted every stray human that she came across. She was stubborn in the best ways, and her linen closet was like Mary Poppins hand bag; whatever you needed, Granny had it. You never left hungry or hopeless from Granny's house. She always had a little treat. She could be easily bribed with back and foot rubs or a trip to 7 Mile Fair. At 4'6" Granny stood 10' tall. And even in the end she was laughing, joking and having a good time surrounded by her gang of Goofballs.
Visitation at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel on Friday, February 14 from 10 - 11:30 AM. Eulogies and prayer service at 11:30 AM. Burial at Arlington Park Cemetery.
