Hastings Emily J. Passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 31, 2015. Age 30. Beloved daughter of Rev. Debra Hastings and Dr. Thomas (Kirsten) Hastings. Mother of Elijah Grosel. Former wife of Michael Grosel. Cherished Sister of Thomas ( Jonelle), Dawn, Suzanne (Eric) Lindley, Robert and Holly. Adored granddaughter of Miriam and Norman Schiffman and the late Edward and Alice Hastings. Much loved aunt of Richard, Alice, Austyn, Tyler, Travis, Billie, Shelby, Benjamin, Morgan and Greydon. Special niece of Joanne Schiffman, Judith (Bill) Tyrell and Sharon Coldren. She also left behind many other special relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Max Sass Funeral Home, Mission Hills Chapel, on Saturday, September 5, with a visitation from 10am-12pm and service at 12 noon with Rev. Andrew Oren officiating. Burial at Chapel Hill Cemetery to follow.
