Elwood L. Larson

Larson, Elwood L. Age 77 of Greenfield, Wisconsin passed away on August 13, 2010. Elwood was born on April 22, 1933 in Powers, Michigan, the son of Charles and Rhoda (nee Hammerburg) Larson. Beloved husband of Joan Larson (nee Gustofson), happily married for 53 years. Cherished father of four children; Duane (Susan), Dale (Janet), Dean (Trish) and Bonnie (Brian) Sadowski. Loving grandfather of Collette (Will) Hall and Caitlin Larson. He is also survived by his sister, Helen Larson; brothers, Charles Larson, Richard (Connie) Larson, Warren (Janie) Larson and Gary (Nancy) Larson; dear nieces and nephews, especially Brenda and Rex McNown for their support through trying times. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Anna Mae Olson, Betty and Faye, and three brothers, Edwin "Bud", Albert and Robert. Elwood will be dearly missed by many other relatives and dear friends. Special thanks to the Aurora VNA Hospice team, Amy, Mike and Alina. Visitation Monday, August 16, 2010 from 4 to 7 PM at the MAX A. SASS & SONS GREENRIDGE CHAPEL with the Funeral Service at 7 PM. Entombment and full military honors on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 11 AM, meeting at Forest Home Cemetery, 2405 W. Forest Home Ave. (Please meet at the Cemetery entrance).
