Elmer A. Kotowski

Kotowski, Elmer A. Passed away October 15, 2012 at the age of 98 years old. He was born to Josephine and Stanley on December 3, 1913. He married Anne Stanaszek April 10, 1937 (she passed in 1976) and together they provided a wonderful life for their 3 children, Barbara (William) Tushar, Ralph (Virginia) and James (Joyce). They had 11 grandchildren, Dan (Ellen), Patrick, Shannon (Cary), Lori, Kevin, Ryan (Amanda), Leann, Mark (Peggy), Patrice, Lesley, Michele (Terry). Great-grandchildren include Nick, Andy, Danny, Maria, Michael, Melanie, William, Evan, Cassidy, Kadie, Samantha, Jon, Chris, Merrisa, Michael, Merranda and one great-great-grandchild Mackenzie. Further survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, Hazel, Stella, Franny, Josie, John and Frank (Joan). Many nieces and nephews and dear friend Lil. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Ray, Jerry, Ralph and Evelyn. He was retired from Allis Chalmers, but also worked as a concrete contractor and owned his own business, "Elmer & Anne's Food Market." A church usher for almost 50 years, he was a Knight of Columbus 3rd Degree. He liked to dance, play cards and travel. But most of all he enjoyed eating. Visitation at MARY QUEEN OF HEAVEN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2322 S. 106th St., West Allis, on Thursday, October 18 from 9-10:15am. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am.
