Elizabeth J Hernet

Elizabeth Jane Hernet Born to eternal life, Betty joined her deceased twin sister and best friend RoseMarie, unexpectedly on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at the age of 83. Betty was also preceeded in death by her parents Anthony and Elizabeth Hernet. She is survived by family and friends who loved her dearly. Visitation at Max Sass Funeral Home, Oklahoma Ave. Chapel, on Sunday, September 17, 3-5 pm. Vigil service 5 pm. and a brief visitation at St. John Paul II Parish, St. Alexander Church, 1568 W. Holt Ave. on Monday, September 18, 10 am-11 am. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Burial to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to St. John Paul II Parish, St. Alexander Church or St. Jude Hospital. Betty graduated from Milwaukee Girls Tech and Milwaukee-Downer College. She was a longtime elementary school teacher for MPS at Mound Street and Manitoba Schools. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, knitting, stained glass, and was a league bowler. Betty was an avid Packer Fan and was also a season ticket holder.
