Hoffmann, Elizabeth A. (nee Ostrowski) Age 47, departed this life on Wednesday, November 6, 2013. Beloved wife of Bill. Daughter of Thomas and Romana Ostrowski. Sister of Kathy Wolff and Alison Neuman. Daughter -in-law of Daniel and Virginia Hoffmann. Sister-in-law of Andy Hoffmann and Laura Beisel. Aunt to Connor, Evan, Bradley, Jack, Sophie and Simon. Further survived by a host of other loving family and friends. Liz was blessed with a wonderful, loving support system. Thank you for the many prayers and well wishes. Liz enjoyed a 25yr. career spent with Cousins Subs, her last position as Director of Marketing. She was honored to work and grow with this very special group. Thank you. Liz fought radon induced lung cancer for 10 yrs. She was President of Cansar (www.cansar.org "Cancer Survivors Against Radon"). She shared her story and spoke out regarding the dangers of radon with the hope of saving lives. Test your home for radon. Liz also enjoyed the years she volunteered at the Pabst Mansion giving tours. Liz took the Serenity Prayer to heart: God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I can not change, Courage to change the things I can and Wisdom to know the difference. Liz will be cremated prior to the public visitation that will be held at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel on Thursday, November 14 from 4-8 pm with services at 7 pm. It is only fitting that delicious Cousins Subs will be available during the visitation. There will be no receiving line. Family will be spread throughout the visitation rooms. Personal request from Liz is to wear bright colorful clothing and to share stories and memories with each other.
