Elizabeth A. Lemke

Lemke, Elizabeth "Lizzy" On February 20, 2015, Elizabeth went to be with her loving and devoted husband of 65 years, Robert, who preceded her in death on July 9, 2009. After a long battle with Alzheimer's she passed peacefully at the Heritage Court Senior Care Facility where she resided for the past three years. Mom of Elaine (Marty) Wordell, Richard (Nell) and James (Carol). Proud grandma of Melissa (Steve) Schein, Katie (Kyle) Johnson, Angela, Adam and Michael Lemke. Great-grandma of Noah and Megan Schein and Kylee Johnson. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Elizabeth was born in Milwaukee to Lottie and Julius Michalski on March 27, 1922, and was married on November 18, 1944. As our mother, we will always appreciate and be thankful for what she passed on to us; her drive and determination to succeed and she always strived to do better. These traits are carried on in all of her children. She loved her tennis and golf and played as long as she was able. She enjoyed decorating and setting a beautiful table. She was also very active in the St. Helen's PTA. Visitation at the Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 25 from 10 11 am. Funeral Service at 11 am.
