Eleanore Rose Walker

September 24, 1920 — May 5, 2010

Walker, Eleanore Rose Age 89, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at Golden Living Center in Glendale, Wisconsin. Eleanore was born on September 24, 1920, in Milwaukee, to Adolph and Mary (Pawlowski) Babinski. She was married to Edwin J. Walker on October 26, 1952, at St. John Kanty Church in Milwaukee. Edwin preceded her in death on September 4, 2008. Eleanore was a resident of Cudahy for 50 years. She worked for Allis Chalmers, where she was known by the nickname "Rusty" in the 1940's and 50's, as well as ITU in the late 1960's and 70's. She was a great Mom and doting Grandma, avid card player and loved to polka. She is survived by her children, Gregory (Pamela) of Lake in the Hills, IL, Margaret (the late Joseph) Giljohann of Milwaukee, and Ronald (Cheryl) of La Crosse; three grandchildren, Catherine Giljohann, Alexander Walker and Jacob Walker; her brother, Edwin (Esther) Babinski; extended family and friends. Also preceded in death by her sister, Alice Nowak. Funeral Service 7:00 PM Saturday, May 8, at Max A. Sass & Sons Mission Hills Chapel. Visitation at the funeral home from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Interment Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery Monday at 11:00 AM.
