Eleanore H. Banach, affectionately known as Ellie, passed away on March 14, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on December 17, 1933 in Milwaukee, WI Ellie was lived a life devoted to her family, friends and faith. She is now reunited with her beloved husband of 64 years, Bruno L. Banach, and their son, Jeffrey Banach who predeceased her in life.

Her legacy is carried on by her beloved children, Stephen L. Banach, and Debra Maciolek (nee: Banach), her grandchildren Heather Maciolek, Nicole Struebing (nee: Banach), Tyler Banach and her great-grandchildren Olive and Hannah Struebing. She is also remembered and loved by her surviving sisters Elisabeth "Gracie" Holton (née Murowski) and Sylvia E. Murowski and has been reunited with sisters Marcella Murowski and Mary Ann Murowski who predeceased her. Ellie was also loved by her daughter-in-law Madeline Banach (nee: Bethge), her husband Bruno's siblings and spouses and her close-knit friends from church, who were the bright spot of her day and whom she cared for deeply.

Ellie was a nurturing and caring person who put other's needs before her own. She worked for many years at The Columns in South Milwaukee, and later in the food service industry serving others. Ellie was a doting wife and mother who took great care in creating a home where family could come together. She loved hosting family gatherings and cooking, she never let anyone go hungry in her home.

A visitation to honor Ellie's life will be held on March 19, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, followed by a a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 AM. She will then be laid to rest during the interment service at Saint Adalbert Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at 12:30 PM immediately following Mass.

Ellie leaves behind a legacy of love, hospitality, and dedication to family and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
