Eleanor L. Mazurkiewicz

Mazurkiewicz, Eleanor L. Age 94, died peacefully on July 21, 2011. She was reunited with her beloved husband of 50 years, Harry "Bronco" in God's wonderful kingdom. Left behind to mourn and grieve their mother's death are her daughters Barbara (Dick) Sarenac, Janice (George) Schwartz and Sandy (Bob) Grosz. Loving grandma of Brad, Kurt, Michael (Lisa), Michelle, Claudia (Jim), Steve (Annie), Mark (Kris) and Christopher (Iwona). Great-grandma "G-G" of 17, great-great-grandma of 1. Also survived by devoted nieces and nephews and other relatives, especially Jack (Joan) Rosploch for many hours of companionship and card games. She was blessed with many good neighbors and friends, especially Pearl and George who included her in their family gatherings and shared laughter and love. Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents John and Appolonia Brefka and all of her siblings and their spouses. She loved to bake, cook, knit, play Bingo and slots, share recipes and make the best potato pancakes ever! Eleanor was a retiree of AC Spark Plug/Delco and was proud of her work on the NASA Space Program. She was a member of the Basilica Seniors and Christian Women. Visitation at the Funeral Home on Monday, July 25 from 3-7pm. Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at the Basilica of St. Josaphat at 11am (please meet directly at church). Entombment at St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the St. Josaphat Basilica Foundation or Aurora VNA Home Hospice, appreciated. Special thanks to Dr. A.
