Elaine A. Meyer (née Raiter)

Elaine A. Meyer, age 84, was reunited with her beloved husband Carl Jerome Meyer and grandson Joshua Lorenz on Monday, March 3, 2025. Elaine's warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Elaine is survived by her loving children, daughter Carlaine (Russell) Cook and son CJ (Val) Meyer. Cherished grandmother to Mandy Lorenz, Paige Meyer, and Evan Meyer. Elaine was the dear sister of Ellen (Jack) Meyer, Edith (Fred) Schneider, and the late Edward (Sheila) Raiter Jr. She was also a devoted sister-in-law to Sandi (DeWayne) Neigbauer and the late Ron (Pat) Meyer.

Elaine demonstrated unwavering commitment and hard work in all her endeavors. She was a devoted crossing guard, committed to ensuring the safety of countless children. Additionally, she demonstrated her remarkable work ethic as a telephone operator for AT&T and the Milwaukee Athletic Club. Elaine's compassion extended to the deaf community, as she learned sign language to provide assistance and support.

Preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lillie Raiter, Elaine's legacy lives on through her precious great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

Elaine will be remembered for her unwavering faith, dedication to family, and the joy she brought to others. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Visitation at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel, 4747 S. 60th St., Greenfield, WI 53220, on Thursday, March 13 from 11 AM - 1 PM. Funeral Service at 1 PM. Private interment at Good Hope Cemetery.
