Elaine E. Gavin

Gavin, Elaine (nee Olson) Age 78, of Greenfield. Died Saturday, July 28, 2012. Loving mother of Diane (Jerry) Nelson and Gary (Donna) Gavin. Proud grandmother of Amy, Jeff, Mathew, Keith and Lauren. Great Grandmother of many. Further survived by her partner Turner Wells, brothers Duane (Gale), Don (Ruth), Marv (Jackie) and David (Ginny) and sister in law Beverly Biggs (Aubrey). She will be missed by her family and many close friends. Preceded in death by her loving husband Francis (Herb). Elaine was an elementary school teacher in Greenfield schools for many years. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 30, 2012 at the funeral home from 4-7 PM with a prayer service at 7PM. Graveside services at Highland Memorial Park on Tuesday, July 31 at 11:30 AM. The family wishes to thank her caregivers at St. Luke's Hospital and Zilber Hospice for their care in her final days. Memorials to the American Heart Association or Zilber Hospice appreciated.
