Magister, Edward B. Passed away peacefully on May 9, 2008 at the age of 92 years after a series of battles with his health for the last four years. Beloved husband of Florence (nee Schuman) for 64 years. Loving father of Edward J. (Barbara), Robert, William (Janet) and Mary Ann (Michael) Hoffmann. Proud grandfather of Charise (Mick) Krstic and Lisa (Goran) Nikolic. Great grandfather of Kassandra, Erika, Marinna and Kanaan. Further survived by his niece Marlene Morouse-Aune, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ed proudly and courageously served his country as a 1st Lieutenant infantry officer in France during World War II and received a Bronze Star Medal. He was a retired employee of the Miller Brewing Co. Ed’s family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful caregivers for all their loving care provided to Ed at home and to Dr. Michael Dawson and the many staff at West Allis Memorial Hospital for their medical care and support. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of your choice if so desired.
